This session entitled with 'Diabetes-DMJ joint symposium' is translational session and designed to provide a place for clinicians and basic researchers. 'Diabetes' and 'DMJ' publish original research relevant to diabetes and are indexed in SCI(E). 2017 impact factor of DMJ is 3.710. The Committee of Publication of KDA has selected the best articles among papers published in DMJ in 2017. In this session, reflection on 'Diabetes' as an editor-in-chief and overview of DMJ will be presented. And the authors of the selected articles will share results of their outstanding researches.

Organizer: Committee for KDA 50th Anniversary

In honor of the KDA marking 50 years of research and collaboration for diabetes since 1968, KDA will be hosting a special 50th anniversary symposium, "Perspectives for Ever-changing Diabetes in Korea" on Oct 12, 2018. In this symposium, changes of epidemiology and pathophysiology in Korean patients with diabetes will be reviewed. This symposium is open to all and will shed light on the past, current and future challenges facing KDA and the exciting activities of KDA.
